FANTASY IN ORBIT aka AL YIAXIS is a London based DJ & collector of deep timeless music spanning genres such as Ambient, African, Brazilian, New Wave, Disco, Dub, Reggae, Experimental, Psychedelic House & Techno. F.I.O. co-founded one of London’s well known underground house & techno party ‘Electric Minds’ later known as The Hydra which started in the warehouses and snooker clubs of London’s East End. Spending years behind the counter at ‘Reckless Records’ in the 90s helped pave his foundation & knowledge of deep dance music. More recently, F.I.O. has been running ‘Mystery Dance’ a monthly radio show on Balamii Radio inviting pivotal artists from the underground fraternity as guests as well as crafting various radio mixes for NTS, Stamp The Wax, Dublab Radio, Going Good Records to name a few.
