On Air 16-05-2019 from 21:00 till 22:00

The Swiss artist Beni Bischof was given carte blanche to work on Pixel, the cafe of the Photo Museum. Bischof work can be read as an ironic commentary on the banality of everyday life
And where does that better come to the surface than at the café? As can be expected from him, Pixel – the museum cafe, will be transformed into a disruptive chaotic total installation.
The artist works with clay, metal, chewing gum, paint. He picks image and text material from magazines, advertisements or from the internet and manipulates it digitally into absurd Dadaist neo-punk assemblies. Beni Bischof questions the status quo in a humorous and poetic manner and approaches complex social themes.

Beni Bischof recently showed and is represented by PLUS-ONE Gallery. This presentation is a collaboration between FOMU, PLUS-ONE Gallery and PIXEL

WAV will do a short musical intervention about bad habits en museum café’s.
