On Air From 17h till 18h
An old man is passing by the window
He’s looking for the sea
Longing for what used to be on the horizon
The tide is slowly pulling back
His memory is searching
An old man keeps passing by the window
The tide is rising
His pace is increasing
His eyes are moving faster behind their lids
He cannot remember the last time he set sail
I collapse
I’m sinking
Along with me, the fading memory of a seagull’s screech
Fishermen are filling the center of the sea
They have been there for eighty-four days without taking a single fish
An old man tries to remember
But nothing comes up
Waves have flooded his memory
Filled them with echoes of life on the surface
An old woman accepts
She puts her left foot inside a vessel
The wind gently carries her body forward
She’ll set sail once again
