Different Fountains is the musical union of Bernardo Risquez and Michael Langeder. They both met during their Architecture studies in Caracas and are currently based in Brussels, Belgium. Different Fountains have released a series of 12” records featuring remixes by Madteo, Karen Gwyer and Seekers international on heir own DFE label as well as a full length album on the meakusma imprint.
Their music is notoriously hard to pin down as they fuse elements of ambient, pop, club and avantgarde music into an accessible amalgam that never shies away from reaching out to the cosmos. For their live performances they often use unconventional setups, changing instrumentation and experimenting with body projections, dancers, masks, etc. In addition to their work as producers they host regular radio shows on the Paris based LYL and the Brussels based WORD radio.
