WHAT’S THE SHOW ABOUT:
Modern music has been largely influenced by those seventies bands inspiring themselves by punk. They were punk by heart but driven by creative minds. Those bands formed the post-punk movement. There’s no simple definition of what post-punk is as a style except this explosive cocktail between punk and creativity. And the outburst is wide. Jazz, avant gardism, leftfield, dark sounds, electronic experiments, funk,… there were no boundaries for those bands that shaped the future of modern music. This session will bring you funk influenced post-punk or as some might call it punkfunk. Expect tracks from 1978 till 1983.

6 What annoys you the most? About others? About yourself?
Negativism and lack of relativism. You just have to make the best out of every situation, always. Just relax and live on. And about me? I sometimes tend to forget what I just said.
7 Choose one superpower if you were a comic book hero?
I only swear by Superman. The hero of all heroes.
8 What is your trademark joke or trick?
My wife: “Can you please put Annabel (my daughter) her jacket on?” Me: “Sorry it’s too small”. Must have said that over a hundred times. Counts also for my daughter’s shoes. So playing people by answering to another meaning of their question.
9 Did video really kill the radio star?
Yes but only the ugly ones.
10 Who are your favorite table guests, dead and/or alive?
Jesus, Mohammed, an alien and Adam Sandler in case it’s getting messy.
11 Where would you rather be right now?
Under water. Preferably warm water.
12 How close did you ever come to death?
Never and very often at the same time. But don’t talk about death. It scares the shit out of me.

14 How often do you dance? Where and when?
I used to dance a lot when I was a teenager. I could spend a whole night bouncing in drum’n’bass. If I dance now, it’s in my living room, with my kids. We try to impress each other taking turns. No rules. No boundaries. We play it dirty.

16 What is your biggest achievement?
My kids.
17 What was your most shameful moment?
My haircut in the nineties. More a most shameful decade.
18 Are we alone in the universe?
Except you and me? 7 billion other mofo’s, loads of scary animals and other weird creatures and of course our friends the aliens. Never seen one though…
