Not many people know me as a House Dj, but when I started digging +25years ago, I went every week to the USA Import record shop in Antwerp. I remember them househeads making fun of me because I liked the early releases of Thomas Bangalter so much.
Smos and Nikolaï where me favorite dealers. And they were selling the sound of Antwerp those days: House. So think of the funky and sunny sound of Café d’Anvers, Wally’s Groove World, Sven Van Hees, Prinz, Raoul (bringing in the goods every week),… rip Smos!
