Na een kort oponthoud, versmelten ook in 2021 We Are Various en Het Bos hun Bubbels weer. WAV zal op woensdagavonden weer af en toe vrolijk blaffen in Het Bos, onderwijl de limieten van zijn Bosbubbel afsnuffelend. De radio zal die avond een vrolijke mix brengen van de vaste WAV radio gastvrouwen- en heren, én shows van de deelnemers van het Bosbubbles project.
Met Bosbubbles steekt Het Bos wekelijks een artiest of band in een bubbel met een een kunstenaar-scenograaf om daar naarstig te werken aan een decoratieve setting. Elke Bosbubbel wordt geniaal gecapteerd en gemonteerd tot een videoclip, concertregistratie, kortfilm of muzikaal beeldverhaal door filmmaker Maxim Hectors. Anders dan in 2020 lanceert Het Bos de nieuwe Bosbubble-video’s, net als een voorstelling, in première op een specifieke dag en specifiek uur.

Vieze Meisje
Vieze Meisje is a fangirl/fanboy collaboration between performer and singer Maya Mertens and musician Azertyklavierwerke. She writes idiosyncratic poetry that is at once heartwarmingly honest, hilariously funny and, at times, brutally elegant. He composes acrobatic beats, loops and sounds for a deconstructed dance feast that ends in complete sonoric mayhem. Once you have heard and/or witnessed Vieze Meisje, you are forever part of life’s Vieze Cirkel.
In this extra-ordinary context, Vieze Meisje will play, juggle, puzzle together a radio show with guest contributions of the other incidental inhabitants of the Bosbubble.

After a short break, We Are Various and venue Het Bos merge their Bubbles again in 2021. WAV Radio will regularly reside in the Bosbubble on Wednesdays, bringing a jolly mix of shows from resident WAV hosts and from participants of the Bosbubbles project.
With Bosbubbles, Het Bos puts a musician or band in a bubble every week with an artist-scenographer to work diligently on a scenographic setting. Each Bosbubble is brilliantly captured and edited into a video clip, concert registration, short film or musical cartoon by blonde film god Maxim Hectors. Unlike in 2020, Het Bos will launch the new Bosbubble video’s premier, just like a show, on a specific day and time.
