On air from 21h till 22h

Welcome to the world of romantic loud guitar noise drenched in reverb, noise, distortion, echoes and about a 100 pedals to achieve the perfect sound.

1. What was the first sound you remember?

Must be some cartoon laughter track I guess.

2. And the first sound that you recognised as music, never to leave your heart/head again?

The first album I remember listening to actively is that War of the Words 70’s prog rock album with great fold-out.

3. What did you want to become as a kid?

Astronaut.

4. Who do you look up to and why?

It has to be Steve Jobs if I have to pick one person. Did his thing when everybody told him otherwise.

5. Who should play you in the movie about your life?

Never going to happen but Kurt Russel would be a good pick.

6. What annoys you the most? About others? About yourself?

Corporate control over the world. People who just do what they’re beging told. I might be one of them.

7. Choose one superpower if you were a comic book hero?

Eternal youth.

8. What is your trademark joke or trick?

Say something really weird during a serious moment.

9. Did video really kill the radio star?

No video helped the radio star and than there was the internet. The music industry deserved what they got.

I would like to have David Lynch as a guest.

In space exploring the endles possibilities.

Never came close to death. Let’s keep it that way.

A guy pooping out a wiener-wurst/hot dog. INTACT. Raises a lot of questions.

14. Do you dance to your own music? Why (not)?

Not really made own music. I have some equipment though. Time!

For the no-musicians:

15. How often do you dance? Where and when?

My dancing isn’t very sexy. Most stuff happens inside my head. The body follows.. a bit.
Doesn’t happen that much nowadays.

16. Embrace Today! But what genuinely used to be better back in the days?

Back in the day “media” was an object. A VHS tape. A LaserDisc. An album. An action figure.. I had to hunt for them. Go to London/Paris/Berlin… look for rare items and maybe just maybe find them… or not or something unexpected better. Most of these shops are gone. ANYTHING can be found in 2 clicks nowadays. The thrill of finding lost treasures is gone forever.

17. What is your biggest achievement?

I just did what I wanted to do and made my hobby my work more or less.

18. What was your most shameful moment?

Oh boy. Being sick and “leaking” from both sides at the same time..

Of course not. That would be insane.

Having smoke now and than. Always leaves a bad taste in your mouth..

Funeral Party by The Cure?
