Curtains, the bi-monthly show focussed on skateboard soundtracks is back. Hosted by El Gallito, co-owner of one of Belgium’s largest indoor skateparks, connaisseur of all VHS skate movies & also a dj in his spare time.
As we entered 2020 it was only mandatory that this first CURTAINS of the new year would be a lookback on the soundtrack of last years’ skatevideoreleases. So for this one Gallito selected his personal best songs/skateparts used for last years’ videos. A “best of 2019” with music from: BOYS OF SUMMER vol.2, Supreme Candyland, Primitive Encore and BAKER 4! It was a very exciting year with lots of young kids turning pro, a lot of skatevideos premiering in the very last months of the year and crazy 90ies vibes all over! It was also a very sad year in skateboarding where the industry lost a true legend. Rip Jake Phelps.
